Delete your account

In the app
- Open FareTable and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap the gear for Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted right away.
By email
If you can't use the app, email privacy@faretable.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my FareTable account". We may ask you to confirm before deleting, so nobody else can delete your account. We'll delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account (email and password)
- Your username and avatar
- Your lists and bookmarks
- Your visits and their notes
- Your recent and saved searches
- Your experience points and level
What stays
Places you added and menus you sent stay in FareTable's shared catalog, so others can still find them, but they're no longer linked to you. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it's overwritten.
Only want to remove some things? You can delete individual visits (long-press one) and lists (My places → the pencil) in the app, or email us to delete specific data without closing your account.
